gmod is my favorite video game and has been for most of my life. many fond memories of sitting on my dirty blue carpet(? i know i had a desk but i guess i just preferred being low to the ground or something) with a laptop playing gmod and listening to undertale comic dubs. on a good day i would have a slush from the liquor store near my house too.
i dont remember at all what inspired me to make a gamemode, but that was my first attempt (that i actually COMPLETED!) at a gmod addon. i had so much fun and kept making them, which led to getting into game dev which led to so much wonderful stuff i have going for me right now. i had programmed (and i think at this point even used godot before) before but getting into making these was probably the most significant domino to where i am now.

based off an old addon i think called "easy alignment tool" that randomly disappeared from the workshop one day!
it was tough living without it for a while. i think my version is better though brag brag brag brag.

this is my second gmod addon inspired by that one part in entropy zero 2 where guys run over the evil death field and turn into a skeleton except this is really badly made.
this is only the second addon i made but it got on the front page, if not for that i dunno if i would have been so motivated to make gmod addons like i did!
theres a 1/200 chance in this addon that when something is skelified it plays a ravenholm distant scream sound effect and ONE person in the comments mentioned it and no one believed them!! haha!
why did i call it "skelifier" and not "skelefier"?

i think this is the most popular addon ive made!
its a little crummy but not like significantly worse than most amature gmod addons. i had the idea pretty early into making addons but didnt know how to do it, so the payoff of it getting so big is pretty cool!
its also used in a wayneradiotv video!!! woah!!

this one is really cool in concept because i stole it from the beginners guide.
super insecure addon but it was fun to make, i have some thoughts on how i could make it more secure without making people sign into an account like some other addons that do a similar thing of leaving notes around the map. but i dont really care enough and will probably never update this.

this one is a lot of fun and i still use it frequently when i play gmod. well, i use most of my addons but especially this one.
i think everything from here up is significantly better than everything below it, which isnt saying so much but i felt really proud of them while making them.

rain world fans really love this addon. couldnt tell you why though, ive never played it.
ALSO, valve CUCKED ME with a "General Mature Content, Frequent Violence or Gore" warning on the addon. why?!?!??!?! cause i show a gorey hl2 zombine in the thumbnail????

this thing is pretty special to me.
i made it at a point in my life where i wasnt actually very willing to stick with projects long term (this only took like 2-3 weeks but i wouldve considered that long term at the time) so its a miracle it got made.
i think its the biggest action though that pushed me into game dev, so thats a pretty cool!
